Hacking MicroSD Problem

I have a MicroSD card, specially for use of homebrew apps and games , and other stuff like that.

The other day, it just conked it. Simply says it needs to be formatted. So i tried to format it, but it just says unable to complete format

And the thing is, its only a few days old.
Anyone have any tips on how to fix it?

What type of microSD card is it? What OS and program are you using to format it?

Well, since you say you "conked" it, it may be simply broken. Micro SD cards are obviously not that strong. You may need to just buy a new one and try to be a bit more careful.
