Hey guys, I've been having this issue for a while now where my adapter was half ass reading my microSD cards and lately it's been gradually getting worse, I mean regular cards work fine but this one particular adapter just refuses to read unless it feels like it. Anyone have any idea as to what the problem could be?

Dirt on the contacts, or just the contacts wearing down. If it's one of those cheap MicroSD adaptors you get for free with some products (like the M3 Real) then they have a life expectancy of 2 weeks. If it's one of those multi-media readers, then they have a life expectancy of 4-8 months.

When dealing with MicroSD, I prefer the MicroSD-SD adaptors you get with most MicroSD cards. SD is so much easier to deal with than MicroSD.

My AKi broke down on me.
Bought a new one for the same price as the card itself
