Micro SD doesnt isnt recognized anymore

    This morning I was on my computer getting a game for my acekard and when I started the computer my Micro SD was working fine but a few minutes later when I decided to backup my files it didnt recognize it any more and said that it needs to be formatted. Can anybody help me please?

    Um...you could try backing it up via DSFTP but that'd be really slow and you'd need the homebrew app to be already on the microsd card.

    See if it works on another computer... and if it does then copy everything you need of the microsd card and then format it using SDformatter.

    Try using a file recovery program before the reformat. I recommend Recuva.
    It won't be able to get everything back, but some save files are better than none.

    I fixed it now using Testdisk. Pretty cool how I could restore all my files that I ever had on my SD, even the ones that I had already deleted long ago.

    Help! I'm having the same problem, so I'm wonedring how to get around it.

    Did you reformat it and then recover it?

    No! Don't reformat until you have the data backed up. Use Testdisk, Recuva- whatever works for you.
    Then reformat with the Panasonic SD Formatter.
