Umm... I changed my game name through Chinese tool, but name on guildcard is same as usual. I think it may trigger some trouble, so I want to slove this.....

Use hex editor to search your name. Did you try this? or restore your name to original.

I found name with hex editor! And I changed it with new name. Is it right?

I think you didn't try with this, I mean when you want to change your name, you should change it there too.

moghedien's wiki has those offsets:
00004 1 First character slot (0 = unused, 1 = used)
00005 1 Second character slot (0 = unused, 1 = used)
00006 1 Third character slot (0 = unused, 1 = used)
so i guess all you got to do is put a 00 on 00005...

It seems like it. I cannot activate the cheats now either.

EDIT: You can delete the update and use your cheats again.

So, read the OP; but I've got a question. I've been playing MHX on my NA N3DS XL on 9.9 using Ironhax (thanks to region free), and I'm getting a JP N3DS in a day or so.

If I'm reading this right, in order to transfer my save data I'm going to have to use extradatatool to make a "backup" of my save, then I'll want to install homebrew on the JP N3DS to "install" the extra data/save data from my NA N3DS XL? I'm guessing that there's no simple way to just... copy the extra data over manually, without fiddling with homebrew? It won't be a problem for me either way (a little annoying, maybe) but still.

Anyway you need a homebrew access on both 3ds. If you want to copy saves to another 3ds you must make empty saves first. then restore your saves through the extdata_dump.

so, dump saves through extdata_dump on 1st 3ds. make empty saves first then restore saves through extdata_dump on 2nd 3ds.

what are the update here and also. i see that there is a way that i can edit my reward box, but will it work also in DLC quest? and also what ed number in the editor is rare 7 or rare x charm? thank you
