Hi, I read every messages and didn't find a proper answer.

My case is:
-3DS hacked
-Switch not hacked
-MHXX 3DS savefile on digital copy
-MHGU Switch physical copy
-both MHXX and GU savedata transfer tools

What I want is to transfer my XX3DS savefile to GUSwitch without hacking my Switch using the offical data transfer app.
I managed to upload my XX3DS savefile to the server but unable to to retrieve it on GUSwitch, every attempts failed.

I'll upload my save here if you want to try it out.

Thanks!

I have a registered pastebin account, so i can just edit the pastebin itself rather than having to link a new one.

This should still be it though:

What's this list for exactly? Was trying to find a list for all equipment specific to GenU to maybe update the save editor.

Ok, so here is 8 item box pages worth of supplies, so all you have to do is go out and kill monsters instead of grinding for ammo/potions/etc.
https://pastebin.com/q1W7vDAT

Here's what's in it:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HpQbVayPWb8fWJlpvxJI19_gb275T0i3vr-IEYFar30/edit?usp=sharing

As you can see, it's stupidly biased towards gunner playstyles, what with the massive amounts of ammunition.
Feel free to use it as a base for whatever, and hopefully someone else will be able to refine the list so it doesn't take 8 whole pages.

Alright, so is there no way to go online with a save file restored via Checkpoint? Because from what I've seen, there's no way to restore a clean NAND without also restoring the unedited save files. If there's no workaround, I pretty much wasted $60 because Capcom are lazy shits and made the MHXX and MHGU save transfer servers use the same connection counter, and ties it to your NNID. And since I already reached 5 connections in MHXX, I literally can't transfer my save in MHGU.

Theres options to mass set item quantity in the top toolbar, but the editor returns an exception error when you go to save.

Is there any way to delete dlc quests from the "System" save file?

I'm pretty sure they're crashing my game on boot up.

Nevermind, I managed to get my MHXX save imported to my switch.

I manually hex edited with HxD.

I created a fresh MHXX 3ds save and opened it up in HxD.

I worked out the dlc values roughly, then in HxD I went to select edit, select block, and set Start-offset: to 0 and End-offset: to 109874.

I copied that from the fresh save then opened up my MHXX 3ds save I wanted to transfer in HxD and overwrite those values.

I then saved the new merged MHXX 3ds save and used your MHGUSaveEditor the way you said to, load up my MHXX save and convert to MHGU by using a fresh switch save.

When I booted up my switch MHGU i was welcomed by a corrupted save message, but it said it would try and fix it.

I let it go and eventually pressed A to continue, and surprisingly enough my save game has transfered with everything except my DLC quests.

I've been doing extensive testing of my method and did find one slight issue, for some reason the DLC challenge quests location in the save overwrite some vital things and break the game.

After downloading somewhere between 10-15 of the challenge quests it starts to overwrite them.

All other currently released DLC work fine though, they're located in a completely different area strangely.

So far everything else in game seems to work perfectly, if I find any other issues i'll update.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD CHALLENGE QUESTS WITH MY METHOD, THEY BREAK YOUR SAVE.

Hi,
I tried to convert my MHXX 3DS save into a MHGU save but when i reimport the converted file and launch the game, I have a black screen.

Do you know what I can do ?

Here's my 3DS save.

Thats really good information, i was trying to boot my converted MHXX save on MHGU, but after the corruption message, the switch makes a weird sound and i have to shutdown the system, gonna try to do what you said later today

Does converting saves work going from XX 3ds to a GU on an American switch? It's saying I don't have a valid switch save.

EDIt Ignore. I fixed it. If I could delete this, I would
