Hardware MH3 - I Cant hear ANYONE using wiispeak

Hi all,

I cant hear anyone online on monster hunter 3 who uses wii speak.

I checked my mic chat and its on full volume. I do not use wii speak myself, but i read that if i add people as friends in game
then i will be able to hear them speak should they use it.

So far i see microphones and signs they are speaking, but never hear anything.

Can anyone tel me, is there something im doing wrong? It is really frustrating.

As far as I know, you can only hear others if you have a Wii Speak.

You read right, you have to add them to your friends list and they have to add you.

Ahh thanks for the replies guys.

So i did right in adding and them adding me, but still i need wii speak myself just to hear them?

That sounds so outrageous.. but i guess a great way for nintendo to cash in.

are there already some cheaper versions of wii speak? just some chinese clone or something.
would like to have one but not pay too much
