Hi, I am using wiiflow and have followed the instructions on how to load each game. I have created a save game using the normal alt.dol in the wiiflow game menu, when i then change the dol in the options to either 1,2 or 3....the game returns me back to the wiiflow menu. I looked in the wiiflow folder for the .dol files and the folder is empty, is there somewhere I can get the dol files from please?

Thanks

I do not use WiiFlow, but I know for a fact that one can select the dol files in Configurable USB Loader directly from the ROM.

Make sure you have the latest version of Configurable USB Loader, the IOS249 edition, and both 249dx56 and 250dx57 installed.

Also, keep in mind that using the alt dol method with Metroid Prime Trilogy automatically makes you play on difficult mode. If you want to play on normal or veteran, use these cheat codes:

Difficulty Modifer (Mp1) (Press Left) [Sharkbyte]
2852A5CA 00000001
CE000000 80008180
047DF8C8 0000000X
E0000000 80008000
0= normal 1= veteran 2= hypermode

Difficulty modifier (Mp2) (press left) [Sharkbyte]
2853300A 00000001
CE000000 80008180
047A8160 0000000X
E0000000 80008000
0= normal 1= veteran 2= hypermode

I left Metroid Prime 3: Corruption off the list because it is its own game you can get independent from the trilogy pack.

There is a folder on the root of your SD car called usb-loader. In it is a folder called codes. You want to put your .gct files in there and enable cheats in the game settings of CFG Loader. The .gct file for the normal difficulty cheats can be found here for the NTSC-U version (MP1 and MP2) and here for the PAL version (only MP1). They require that you press left on the D-pad each time you start the game. Cheat codes can be found on the WiiRD Code Database.

Is there any method to convert the NTSC codes to PAL codes? Or can somebody do that? I think I'm not the only one who is interested in PAL Difficulty Modifer Codes.

There's no easy way to do it (and I certainly don't know how), but you could make a request in this forum thread.

    @Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

    @BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
