I use cfg usb loader and it does have a setting to block ios reloading, but every time I get past agon wastes and there's a cutscene of pirates showing up the wii remote stops working. why?

I don't have a copy of cd I downloaded the metroid prime trilogy game in wbfs format on the internet. I heard people say that some copies of the game that can be downloaded with ntsc region don't work very well and that the pal version of the game is better, is that true?

probably a rumor due to a bad dump.
The game is a dual layer, and the first release dump was halved (only the single layer was dumped) so the game crashed at some point when it tried to access missing data located on the second layer.

But NTSC and PAL both work file if you have the full release.
Just check your ISO (or wbfs) with WiiBackupManager > sha1 option.

I have the actual tin collector's MPT. It definitely works with original remotes and both flavors of WM+.

If it's freezing it's likely it's a bad rip or the wrong cIOS.
