Peoples reaction to this is pretty much the same to their reaction to the first Prime game, and that turned out very well and that game turned out to be exactly like Metroid but in first person.

I don't like it. Team Ninja? As in, Dead or Alive Team Ninja? I HATE DOA.
Everything looks like it was covered in lube. And what is up with the gameplay? Is it first person shooter, sidescrolling platformer, third person running, or God of War quicktime event movie bullshit? Because it CAN'T be all 4 AND work.

How CASUALLY they show samus without her suit. I remember when it was a secret she was a woman. I REMEMBER WHEN YOU HAD TO FINISH THE FUCKING GAME TO SEE HER WITHOUT HER SUIT. God damn it, Brawl Zero Suit Samus, you fucked things up.

What the hell is nintendo thinking, involving Team Ninja of all things?

Note; I'm not telling any of you what you should think about this game. And I'm not saying any of you are wrong in your opinion of this game. If you like it, good for you. All I know is that I fucking hate it with a passion, and I hope it turns out to suck, and the sales are shit, because I don't want to see this series progress in THAT direction.

I'm just hoping they don't stray too far away from old Metroid. Finding unlockables, puzzles, platforming, and exploring. I'm also not a huge fan of the art style either. Maybe I just got to use to retro's look. No big deal really. I'm just glad they added a deeper story for once. I'm getting tired of all Nintendo titles having no or the same story.

Everyone was worried about the perspective (1st-Person normally=FPS --> Retro introduced the FPA and proved everyone wrong!) and if they get the Metroid feeling of isolation and exploration into this perspective. And Retro did exactly that very successfully!

This looks too much like stylish action sequences, which IMO doesn`t suit a bounty hunter like Samus is... I`m really worried about the direction they might go with this. But I really hope they prove me wrong...

Metroid is Metroid! Hopefully it`ll stay Metroid...

Also... I'm confident they'll leave a ton of exploring. I want to know if they'll leave the sequence breaking I've come to love in the 2Ds and the first Prime...
