wondering if it's possible to use metasploit/meterpreter (what i'm familiar with ) on a wii u console, or if there is some other type of backdoor exploit i can set up to remotely access/log my wii u's activity (primarily internet browser activity)

thanks for the help

edit: i did try checking the search fuction and reading/glancing over some of the stickies but they seem to be aimed primarily at homebrew and installing various games as oppose to what i'm looking for

Let him watch his porn and explore his sexuality himself.
If you make him moral, he could get a psychological blockage with sex in general
Plus that would be both unnecessary and a super awkward situation for a teeny

Yeah first time i watched porn i was 14
It didn't affect my growth

So yeah it is actually pretty easy to see what he is doing on the network but I won't help you with that since it is wrong
And not good parenting

Just stop. I know a very easy way to see it, but it might even be illegal to spy on others' internet activity and your reason is just ridiculous. If (s)he is watching porn on it, then what? Weren't you watching porn in some form (porn magazines) at his/her age? Do you think it somehow harmed you? What would you gain for knowing it?
Please no-one tell how to do it! Thank you.

hacking in videogames and downloading illegally pirated material is ok: censoring your kids and making sure it's actually porn they're watching and they're not i unno, sending naked pictures to pedophiles is somehow morally wrong?
oookkkk then......

What are you talking about "sending naked pictures to pedophiles" You can't do that on a Wii U

E. So now you're telling us you want to make sure they're watching porn, in the OP you said you wanted to know if they're watching porn. oookkkk then......

it's not, i think you miss-understood my statement, i'm trying to see if there is a way to see where they are browsing via internet because i'm not sure where they're browsing, i can only ASSUME porn, since teenagers right? i could be entirely wrong and they're doing something more malicious (like the example i gave) but i don't know because they delete their browser history.....

i mean i could just do a packet sniff on the entire wii u traffic but that's A LOT of data to sift thru especially when vidoegaming is involved, and was looking for a slightly easier more narrowed down option

Why the hell would they do something like that on a Wii u rather than a phone or computer???

I heard the Wii U web browser is surprisingly a good way to watch porn... Just don't ask where i heard that haha.
Anyways can't the Wii U parental control be use to block access to the web browser? if you don't want your kids to watch teh p0rns then that might be your best option... although i doubt that would stop a teenager on his hunt for porn.

Opendns and use the filters. Problem solved... For a little time. Porn always finds a way.

Trust me there are more porn sites then every other type of sites in the Internet. You cant Block them all.

Only if you would work with a whitelist and just unblock stuff you know and still then pr0n would find a way.

Just let it be, even if it starts way earlier that alone won't have any mayor impact.
(I know what im talking about^^)

There is a Developer Mode in the Wii U browser which seems to be able to do what you want. The only problem is it's temporary and is disabled once the browser is closed.

I have to mirror the sentiments of the other posters here. Don't bother the kid. Trying to helicopter parent a teenager like this - even if your reasons are good, which they aren't - will only start an arms race where the child will always win in the end. How do I know this? You had to ask for help to get this spyware set up.

Such things are perfectly normal development and have been since cavemen were finger painting. Plus, masturbation is vital both to curb the risk of cancer and reduce aggressive tendencies. And if you're so worried about an ephebophile exploiting your teenage kid, you wouldn't take active measures to damage the trust between you two like you're actively trying to do.

Pre-ordering was a bit nuts but I somehow got two orders lined up. Walmart went live early with a queue system that was actually extremely stable and I was able to snag one for shipping, no in-store pickup.

Target.com went down immediately but the app was up for a little longer before going down and a couple of friends managed to snag pre-orders there, but it was $10 extra for release day shipping also with no local pickup.

Don't give up on the Best Buy line! I waited for 35 minutes before the page automatically refreshed and asked me to re-login, I thought I was done for but after I re-logged back in it took me immediately to checkout with 10 minutes to complete the purchase.
  • TeconMoon @ TeconMoon:
Best Buy local pickup is what I was going for so I'm glad it panned out. I had some rewards certificates waiting to be used and got some money back on my Best Buy credit card. Gotta get me that midnight pickup!

@TeconMoon walmart keeps going in and out of stock. I'm worried about ordering 1 more and having cancellation since I already ordered 1 tho
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
@TeconMoon I got booted out of the best buy line in one of my browsers dunno what's up with that
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
@TeconMoon what do you plan on doing with the 2nd unit? family member? resale?

    So is 4chan oh wait
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
@Skelletonike bluesky claims to be decentralized like mastodon, problem is that for some reason they decided to create their own protocol for that, I've not seen a single other instance using it
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
Yeah, 4chan was a bit sus... Probability of finding a trap when clicking on something was... Too high.
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
Well... When it comes down to, it's all for money.
  • SillyBee @ SillyBee:
What is hilarious is that a lot of old 4chan users used to complain it became really mainstream lmao
