Ye, but this is not the final solution, because you have to restart the Menu Patcher everytime You restart Your Wii.

But doesn't gamma already do that? You load up Gamma, which goes back to the system menu and lets you load from the disc channel. What's the point of MenuPatcher?

You have to restart Gamma again, after You restart Your Wii, same effect. The MenuPatcher is just for patching the menu, where BL Gamma is for executing Game Backups via a patched System menu.

Look here for more information about Menu Patcher / Menu Loader:

edit: I also think, that cSM will win the race, lets see

I'm pretty sure the way it's being made, it will patch your NAND so that you don't have to reload your Menu... it'll be patched from start up.

There should be a way of Uninstalling this as well, so you can go back to normal play (no loading backups from disc menu)

Huh? As far as I know it only changes the RAM, meaning everything will be back to normal after shutting down the Wii.

Edits the ram? i thought it patched the NAND so that the backups would work from powering on the wii, without having to reboot. Waninkoko should make it so that if a certain file is on your sd, the wii boots with the backups enabled, and if the file isnt, it boots normally. then being able to uninstall this feature would be handy.

like a menu-unpatcher would be handy

re-reading, no, it will modify your NAND files... so I really hope there is extensive testing done on different configs to see if it'll brick before being released!!

It only patches it in memory.

As in, not permanent.

But most things use a soft return to menu. Like the HBC and Wii games, so it should preserve the loadiness.

And the patches in this are:
1) Use IOS249
2) Remove Update Check
3) Patch JAP, PAL, and NTSC (Dunno what this does, region free?)
4) Lets you copy "No Copy" saves

its actualy a loader if you can call it like that it loads the system menu into the memory and patches it and then start the system menu so nothing permanent

As I've said several times, it does not touch the NAND.
It is not permanent.

Ok, thanks. Ehm...I saw that you said this, but with "patches into menmory" I understood "into NAND" and not RAM.

You must install Waninkoko's cIOS rev07 (compatible with backup launcher 0.3gamma)

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
