Hacking MenuPatcher v1.0

I tried Uninstalling starfall : no effect...

I'm actually trying to reinstall cios 07 but with network installation !
... And it worked...

i waited 1 minute and dont put off the wii and now when i restart the screen is back with this -2011 error
whats up now? oO

i can hear wii menu sounds but on tv i only see this error message

There's a difference between WiiGator's cIOS (the installer that comes with 0.3gamma) and Waninkoko's cIOS (the one on his website, that requires IOS36 wad). I'm not sure, but it could very well be that WiiGator's cIOS does not support MenuPatcher v1.0 (correct me if I'm wrong).

what are you doing there man -o- take the power of and start your wii again ... there are already 168 downloads and almost none of them had a problem ...

indeed wiigators is a lite version of the cios and the waninkoko cios rev 7 can also install from network so no need for ios36 wad

removed power and put in again

There is A LOT of difference.

The same Waninkoko said (on EloTrolado) that there's a bug in Wiigator's cIOS that prevents you tu use Menu Patcher.

Install Waninkoko's cIOS if you want to use Menu patcher.

Oh I just understood the use of it :
Launch it when a backup disc is in, then the game will work like a normal disc until you eject it !
Then launch menu patcher again for another game each time you change discs !

Ok so let me understand if I get this....

1. Install the CIOS rev 7
2. Put menu patcher DOL in homebrew channel
3. Boot Menu patcher
4. Put in backup...

Right?
Is this region free? like, i have a NTSC wii and i want to play PAL...would that work with menupatcher?
