Hacking Memory card formatting

My memory card needs formatting and I want to know if I have to do that thing to make the flashcart work on the new dsi firmware ( I dunno what its called

) I am using an AK2i and will have akaio 1.6 on it once formatted. Help appreciated

Does your Acekard show the Danny Phantom Logo or just the Acekard logo in the DSi menu?
To format your MicroSD use the Panasonic SD formatter

It already shows the Danny Phantom pic because I phantomed it before but I need to format the micro sd, I think its corrupt, so wanted to know if it will remove that too & whether formatting the memory card will return it to pre phantom mode. I don't want it messing up because the firmware of the dsi blocks it or whatever

Don't worry it will not erase the update you made.
The Danny phantom update is in the acekard not in the micro SD.
Just format and install AKAIO 1.6 then you're good.
