Coldboot or "CBHC" is only dangerous when the user installing it is careless and decides to install it using a pirated copy of a title without the proper sig patches.
There is also a danger after installing it, but that again is down to carelessness of the user deleting the title without first uninstalling the coldboot.

If you avoid doing either of these things and install coldboot on a proper purchased title, you will have zero problems and it will be 100% safe!

Not to backseat mod, but shouldn't this be in Backup Loader discussion? I concede that, like FBI it will probably be able to install other things like homebrew apps, etc.
