Gaming mega man zero collection (U)

Running the game on my Cyclo. Playing mega man zero (1). Its been a real long time since I've played mega man of any kind, but this seems weird to me. I died once and it says game over and I get the retry option. I had like 3 lives, die once, and game over. Kind of weird. Any one else have this problem?

yes.. that is how the game suppose to be

for z1 you start with 3 lives?
after you die.. you will get the game over screen and then the continue screen pops out ;P
