Mega Man 9 coming to PSN and XBLA a FALSE alarm

It seems Mega Man 9 will only appear on WiiWare and nowhere else. Capcom had made a mistake adding it to their E3 lineup, it has been removed.

WiiWare ONLY - False alarm. Please, go ahead and disregard this morning's post regarding Mega Man 9 being available for the PSN and XBLA. Capcom have since removed those listings from their E3 lineup (calling it "a mistake"), and have confirmed the game will only be appearing on the Wii.

At first I thought this was another dupe thread.

Seemed a bit silly that people were took the news of Kotaku (which was taken from another site) as truth even though there wasn't a shred of truth in it, glad that Capcom have stated what's what.

Its a shame, they could have done MM9 for PSN & XBLA and made them prettier for those graphic whores out there and left their original intention for the game on WiiWare.

Mistake my ass. More like premature announcement.

Capcom is known for releasing Nintendo "exclusives" on other platforms (Resi Evil 4, anyone?)
