For those that were not around for the original xbox and PS2 Max Payne was one of the first games to take the John Woo style slowdown gunplay popularised in well John Woo films and put it in a game. On top of that it had a pretty good story and an interesting art/aesthetic (it aped the film noire/comic stuff) which made it. Some expressed reservations about the new setting (Brazil favelas vs snowbound or otherwise dark New York) but it remains to be seen how it plays out.<br/>

Max Payne 3 continues the tale of former New York City detective,
Max Payne. Still haunted by the memories of his traumatic past, Max
begins a new life working private security protecting a wealthy
industrialist and his family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. When gangs target

clients and clear his name, in a bid to, once and for all, rid
