Once the DLC is out, I will probably only use Isabelle from then on. It will be hard to get used to because I have otherwise been using the Gold Standard kart, Slick Wheels and Bowser as character.

Speaking of which, I wonder what kind of stats Villager, Isabelle and Dry Bowser will have. Since Villager and Isabelle are small it would make sense if they were kinda lightweight.

Until April 23's here this seems to be the not-so slowest kart available.

It's pretty good with this selection, imo.

The Gold Kart and the Sports Coupé have the same stats as the B Dasher as well.

Nintendo's really gone fucking lazy with these stages.. Baby Park is literally going around circles but I love the BGM so there's at least something good about it.

It's already paid for so when DLC 2's out I'll give it a go.

No Rainbow Road stage this time around... :(

baby park was like that in DD though :P
I know, Double Dash!! is my favourite Mario Kart but Baby Park is just a waste of space in DLC #2.

Luigi Curcuit, Daisy Cruiser, Rainbow Road or Wario Colosseum would have been much better than that bland track that a 2 year old could draw on a piece of paper. It's literally a racing in circles, just like NASCAR.

Oh well, the other tracks seem to be pretty good and especially that F-Zero! I think with all this F-Zeroness in Mario Kart 8 there might not be an F-Zero Wii U game at all.

Still, 200cc isn't F-Zero-fast.

I agree with some of Mario Kart 8's DLC tracks not being up to scratch by being really too simple, (Excitebike Arena, SNES Rainbow Road, Baby Park) or a bit lame considering some of which have already been remade in the past (SNES Rainbow Road- remade three times, Yoshi Circuit- two times, Baby Park- twice), but it's still a good value and it does add a lot more to the game.

Though I still don't understand how neither N64 Wario Stadium or GCN Wario Colosseum made it into Mario Kart 8. Wario Stadium is the only N64 track that's yet to be remade, and Wario Colosseum is a PERFECT fit for MK8's Anti-Gravity tracks. It's despicable that neither have been remade at all when some of the DLC tracks are reappearing for the second or third time!

wait for DLC 3 pack and 4 :P

Lol at the people complaining about free DLC, like the 200 CC mode :P Nintendo doesn't need to cater to everyone's demands, you know :P I would think that people would be more grateful but, who are we kidding? This is the internet, gratitude is frowned upon XD

Like what they did with Wii Sports Club?

Ah, yes. They used it before for Wii Sports Club.

That very complaining is what got us to have Mario Kart 8 to actually be a fast racing game now rather than a snail race.

If people didn't complain then Mario Kart 8 would have its map on the GamePad which no one looks at as they're focused on the TV and the game would remain slow. Still, fucking Nintendo hasn't bothered to add proper Battle Mode stages and add 2nd backup item like the other MK titles have.

Nintendo can speak for themselves they don't need to be shielded by their Nintendrones.

Using the sophomoric epithet "Nintendrones" doesn't really help one's argument, but I digress. The battle mode sucks ass, I agree, and something has to be done about it before I ever get motivated to try it out (as of yet, I haven't played battle mode once). That being said, there has to be a large rally of people to have their voices heard so they can bust their butts and give us the same battle mode concept we've had since 1992.

Why the FUCK have Nintendo not made it so one user/s can use the gamepad screen all to themselves and another user use the TV entirely to themselves?

FUUUUUUUUUUUCK.
I know. My youngest loves the gamepad and uses it over the TV, it sure would be nice when I play with him if I could have the full screen.
