Gaming Mario Kart 8 Discussion Thread

This is exactly what I hoped Nintendo would do with their typically once per gen games

Bring out new DLC at a good price every 6 months or so.

That way the games stay fresh, you will come back every few months to try out the content and will keep bringing others back.

Much better than "Heres your game, see you again in 6 years!"

sadly your too late nintendo i've moved past mario kart and onto other games now. i don't even think i'll bother to try the dlc 2 at all.

Forget the DLC Pack 2, it's all about that 200cc!

Hahah I can't believe people get negative with "I've moved past Mario Kart and onto other games now".

I wish MORE developers every year or so, pumped an update into a title which revitalised the gameplay and added extra value.. FOR FREE. Hate DLC if you must but a free update to an already excellent game with 8-9/10 reviews across the board is insane.

This added longevity to a title which was released quite a few months ago now will only make me more inclined to support Nintendo games.



A bit off topic but I recently watched Angry Joe playing Mario Party... I'm tempted to buy it when I visit my family home just because I think it will be extremely fun.

Didn't know Angry Joe did a Let's Play video about Mario Party 10. I might end up buying Mario Party 10 for August to play with my nephews but I only have 1 Wiimote and the WUPC isn't compatible... Fuck it. I've got plenty other games to play with them.

Yeah the fact a first party controller is not supported by a first party developer on their own console is borderline ridiculous.

I have 2 wii motes so I'll need to invest in one or two more too sadly which drives up the price of the game.

I want buy the build of 2 DLC for the game.. On website is said 12,99$ and in eshop is 14,99$ why that? Prices have been increased is not a big deal ,

Or is the price launch in Canada ??

Canadian prices are slightly higher for some reason. MK8 in the states costs $59.99, here it's $64.99. It's like that for pretty much everything.

It's just over $10 here if memory serves, but the failing dollar vs greenback is probably what's causing it.

Yah i know that for the games , but I do not know for DLC , it's still a good price for the pack of 2 DLC however. You have got it the bundle dlc ?

Just you wait until 200cc is available and then play that on the Rainbow Road tracks as well as F-Zero's.

F-Zero's Mute City is like a platform stage from Sonic 4... way too many boosters. lol
