How do you race as your mii and not characters in game?

Beat all 50cc courses (idk if 3 stars but thats how I got it)

To be precise, you have to beat every courses, no matter what difficulty and stars gained...so i suggest the 50cc courses as tylee said, or 150cc so you unlock mii, mirror mode and extra characters.
