The fact that the name is Player leads me to believe this is a Mario Kart display unit at like a best buy, Gamestop or Target or something, probably has had Mario Kart in the 3 DS since it was released.

very simple, glitchers and cheaters, its one of the main reasons why i don't enjoy the more recent mario kart games because of the online modes are completely ruined for everyone no matter how hard nintendo try to patch and block cheaters/glitchers they just keep on coming back.

There's no current glitches in Mario Kart 7, there goes that statement. Since the 3DS save file encryption hasn't been cracked there's no cheaters either.

they could have accumulated the points prior to the patch was live and kept the points, nintendo should have wiped any points from the system to keep things fresh, some games online do this and i think it's fair to everyone else.

maka whuhu shortcut glitch says otherwise (prior to patch), there is no way that anyone can accumulate that amount of points normally, unless you don't eat, sleep and socialise or even go out and play. you must be playing the game nonstop for 100s of hours, in that case if i was your parents i would have taken your 3ds off you and sold the dam thing and told you to go and play outside like normal kids do.

Even if they used the maka wuhu glitch when it was available, its not the only course in the game. Granted some people would spam it, its still not hard to believe someone can accumulate that high a vr since the game has been out. Some people just live to play...

honestly just play everyday. With the vr system its very possible to get to that. Its not like mairo kart wii that if u ahve a high vr and get a bad palce againt low vr people. u r tottally scrwed.
