Mario Kart 3DS May Be Delayed Until 2012

Mario Kart 3DS may have been delayed into 2012. In a recent interview, Shigeru Miyamoto commented on his shifted focus towards the 3DS. He mentioned the games he was working on for launch this year and Mario Kart 3DS wasn't among the games set for 2011. Miyamoto did say he was working on the title though.

“The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be released in June, Starfox this summer and Super Mario 3D, which is completely original, is coming this year. I am involved with these titles and Mario Kart.”

Last month it was reported that Miyamoto planned on releasing Mario Kart 3DS by the end of 2011 but an official release date was never set.

Could this mean Mario Kart 3DS won't be hitting shelves in 2011 afterall?[/p]

All my hype with the 3DS gone down lol. I know the 3DS is capable of more, but I was expecting more 3D action. Both SSFIV and Rayman 3D didnt impress me that much, in terms of their 3D content..

Anyway, I hope to see more 3D content in the games

. I mean thats the whole point of 3DS.
After messing around with the 3DS the last couple of days, I really feel down in terms of 3D content with the launch titles I got.. lol.

The game is most likely completed hence he doesn't need to work any harder than other games like super mario. Mark my words it be released in 2011 in japan at the very least. We'll find out in e3 anyway to be sure.
