Hacking Mario Golf VC PAL problem

Hello all.

I have installed the NTSC Mario Golf N64 WAD on my PAL 3.3E Wii and made it region free with freethewads. The sound is seriously rubbish on it though; and it's not out in the PAL region yet - is there anything I can do or am I shafted?

By the way I tried using the search and found nothing - I find it hard to believe no-one else has had this problem!

Yes, sound is a little bit scratchy but only at the title screen. In-game it's much better and you almost don't recognize it.
