Hacking Mario and Luigi RPG 3 (Japan) Protection Check Bypass!

I tried all three patches and the main version, with AR code, and none of them seem to prevent me from freezing when loading my save.
In the area with the cycles to make bowser grow. D:
Tried both YSmenu firmwares (Oct and Current) too.

Still no fix?

EDIT: So, pulled open my save on no$GBA again, codes, patches, etc, the game freezes in the actual bowser battle.
Any way to send a save from either R4/No$GBA to DesMuMe?

i had tried the patch on my EZVi... and i got the same result as you!
so i assume we need a firmware update from EZV team

this version might not be the latest but it worked for me

and
i assume you know how to install yasumenu right?

delete the old firmware such as r4 or whatever you got inside
just drag everything you unzip and put it into your SD card

damn i tried to get a save of an emu to avoid this crash thing... but i failed {NOGBA with batch and DeSmu with patch}

damn i get two white screens when i click the load option,
but i click new game and theres 2 blank profiles (no profile at all)
if this gets working i need a save with profiles... it dosn't matter how far thru the story but preferably at the start

I can start the story now but the game freezes when I'm meant to start my first battle. I'm going to try using copies of the game that have the 2 patches now.

Oh, and does anyone know why the bypass cheat that I have in my .dat file isn't showing up in YSMenu?

UPDATE: Patch 1 has gotten me past the first battle. Hopefully it'll continue to work.

UPDATE: Patch 1 stopped after Bowser inhaled Mario and Peach. Going to try patch 2.

I patched the rom with this, works great. The patch you use in junction with this is somewhere in this thread. I'll edit if I find it. Then I just used YS.

Which version of DeSemuMe works with this game again? I know No$GBA works until Bowser Battle, and iTouchDS is still working on their 2.4a firmware, so if I could get a response, that would be great.

Nope, this is a SC-Slot2 specific bug, so you'll have to wait for an update (if that ever comes out).
