Gaming Mario 3D World looping on loading screen?

Hi all,

Got the above problem.and can't think what is wrong.

Have tried thoroughly cleaning the disc ( of blurs and smudges ) but it still stays on the loading screen. All my other discs are fine.

Anyone got any ideas?

If your console is still under warranty (not tampered with in any way shape or form) and only 1 year old (or less), I would contact Nintendo. It could be that your laser is starting to fail (defective). But before we go that route, can you check over the disc and make sure there aren't any nasty scratches on the disc?

Normally when discs run into issues is when they have scratches, more so deep ones which make it impossible to read the data off of it so the disc's fine the hardware however is likely to be the problem here.

WiiCube_2013 - surely the problem is this done disc if the 20+ others work fine?

UPDATE: Another clean and the disc is working now.

That's an odd one, usually when a disc runs into problems it's due to scratches rather than blemishes or smudges but glad you got it worked out!
