soo just replace the WHOLE moonshell folder with wood?

Yes. You don't need Moonshell anymore.
Just get rid of all that.
You can keep your games if you want to.

I recommend you delete everything and reformat your card as a safety measure.
It still works without reformatting though.


Also, I did this out of curiosity but I left moonshell in the card and just dropped my Wood files in with it. Apparently Wood still works fine.

hmm....everytime i turn on my ds with wood R4 i get this black screen with just yellow folders but cant see any names

R4 III ?

ive patched the game but still stuck at yeti warning mesage right after the game loaded....

i went n tried the woods program for r4 clones...but instead i get a flashing yeti warning message (no idea...dont ask me why it acts this way) instead..

pls help... T_T

and when i load the maplestory ds all i get is a black screen which later shuts itself off...wth...

if you are still using the old m3 firmware
then you should try using wood or ysmenu

I have the latest which is 1.14 unless theirs a new one? So wood&ysmenu work on the m3 simply too?Since it looks likes on the other posts it only works for r4.

finally get my maple to work!! XD

first follow steps frm

now load ysmenu.nds file frm ur normal r4III firmware...then load maplestory...

and voila, working lk a charm!
ive met my wiz and pt-ed her and went deep underground kerning (the game is surprisingly straight forward...)

no hangs / game crashing so far... XD

From the sound of it... the game has multiple AP checks, hence some people freezing.
AFAIK, the Patch that is released only bypasses one of the AP checks, at character creation.

I could be wrong since this is just speculation with no proof... but it does make sense.
Which card do you have by chance?
