just do it yourself. while the patch isn't there, directions on how to do it is plenty abundant and the tools required for that are as well.

You can use the ocarina cheat code support built into GeckoOS or WiiGator's backup loader to load a cheat file to remove all censoring.

I have a cheat compiled by sm98 from the usbgecko forums to remove all screen effects during executions, the only thing is it's NTSC, But as far as I know the cheat should be the same, I just need the Game code

[XXXX54] (I need the four letters represented by X's for the pal version) and I can throw you together a GCT file you put in the SD:/codes/ directory that you can have load automatically just by booting the game through GeckoOS for original or the burned copy through the backup loader via the homebrew channel.

That's your only option, other than using trucha signer to edit the disc and reburning it.

PPF patching won't work because you need to fake the hash signature when modifying wii disc data otherwise it won't run as a nintendo-implemented security measure, it's not as simple as just swapping a modified file like with the psp and ps2 versions of the game.

If you need any more help feel free to PM me.

EDIT: my mistake, two people requesting help. either way, I have NTSC already made and working and can make a PAL cheat on request.

Sweet! I have a Mac so patching the ISO would be a pain, that killing fun code is the same as doing so? Thanks!

I seem to be having troubles with this again Mac issue.... could you possibly upload the GCT?

Theres the gct, it's for the NTSC USA version of Manhunt 2

Like I said before, Original code credit to sm98 from the usbgecko boards.

Make a folder on the root of your SD card Called CODES and put this file in it

You need the homebrew channel installed along with the new GeckoOS for the original pressed copy of the game, or WiiGator's loader 0.3 for a backup

Make sure in the config options Ocarina is turned "ON" (I think it is by default but won't hurt to check) Then launch the game using the launch prompt.

You'll see "SD Codes Found....Applying" at the bottom of the screen before it loads.

Turns off all darkening and blur filters completely. Much easier to get level 3 kills as you can see what the fuck you're doing for once, and the best part, you don't need to modify the game data at all.

If someone wants to give me the PAL gamecode (Usa is RHTE54) I can try and make a PAL gct too. I'll just add it to this post.

Enjoy!

Thanks a lot Mark (and sm98)!!

I think you misunderstood me, I can hook you up with it, just boot your manhunt 2 through backup launcher or GeckoOS and tell me what the 4 letters are before the 54 so I can name it appropriately. (I only have the USA version which is RHTE54, yours is ????54 tell me the 4 letters in ????)

eh damn it, i wanted a patch, oh well

It's not that easy, you need to open the ISO in trucha signer, modify the values in a file (levelsetup.ini) replace the file with your modified one then re-sign the game ISO with the common key. I don't think you can code a patch like that which is why there really isn't one.

Trust me on this, having done it myself and having to compile my own keyset, It's SO MUCH EASIER to just boot the game through GeckoOS or BackupLauncher with a cheat file on your SD card. I don't even use my backed up signed copy all that much because it's too jittery for me when bad guys see you as well. I generally just use my original copy and use the cheat file.

hi Mark,

did you already find out what the pal code is? If you want, I can launch my manhunt 2 and see what the result is?

Sure, Launch it and i'll compile you a gct under the name you give me, we'll see if it works (it should)

Mark,

I get the Sd Codes Found ... Applying thing

But I don't really see the difference. I haven't played that much since I'm hooked to SWFU. I guess the sneaky kills aren't blurred out, but they still are quite "shaky".

Hmm, I dunno, I just took the codes posted on the usbgecko forums and built them into a gct using the ocarina pc tool, I didn't make them....maybe there's more to the pal version I don't know about..

NTSC version code cuts out all the camera tints, fades, and blurs. Maybe different/extra game data on account of the crazy legislation trying to ban even the MA-17 censored version over in your countries?

You might have to back yours up and trucha edit it in that case, search for "trucha manhunt 2" on the board, there's a tutorial I used a while back, but like i said the game itself is already slightly jerky on in-game disc reads, the backup loads even jerkier when you're spotted/beginning of executions.

Good luck

I just started this game up and am having some major weird effects, but I do not know if it is just the game play if it is the ocarina code I am using to uncensor or what. More or less when I get near a wall, or am forced to pause for instructions or to hide in the shadows the main character gets "stuck" and I have to shake the wiimote to get him moving again, this is especially annoying because it more or less makes stealth killing impossible as the only way to get moving makes a sound... Is this a common problem, or does anyone know why this might be happening?
