since on NFC Bank it appears that Skylanders are dumped the same with .bin file, do they work with this process? i mean can i make an "Skylander Figure" for the wii / wii u using this process?

I'm wondering the same... and even if is possible to use the portal on the computer to do the writing process :B

No, because they'll have different keys. Perhaps we could extract the keys however - Skylanders has Wii games too which means we can get into them.

but i also read that the key its a plain text on the wireless device for wii and wii u, for xbox 360 the key is encrypted.

Just got my tags in from tagstand (they also sent an extra) 1usd a piece with standard lowest price shipping was 2.99 but they arrived in two days!

I wonder, what would be the best paper to print on? / best way to make cards to attach tags to?

Dimensions is easally copied. You need a certain type of NFC Tag (type as in NTAG215, NTAG215) with a certain capacity.

I've done it myself. Not sharing any details.

There's not any thread about it. Just did a little experimenting.

I just used NFC Tools and NFC Tag Cloner.

He captured the information being passed between the USB NFC base and recorded/edited them.

He then used two teensy's to emulate the data with the console.

So extra hardware is required.

I don't understand though. Aren't DI characters only like $7-$10?

Not in my Walmart. Even some of the DI 1.0 and 2.0 characters where like $4.99 + tax.

R$ (or BRL) .. it's about 20 USD today because the rate (1 USD -> 4 BRL :B ) the common rate was like 2~3 but these times are crazy XD
and people overpriece game stuff and figures here =3=

this is why I'm so crazy about making these cards for me xD even I rater having the actuall amiibo/skylanders :v

So has no one sat down and tried to figure out what this guy's code was for NFC emulation? From what I know, it requires CyanogenMod 10.2 because that ROM can emulate NFC Forum Type 2 (NTAG215), but that shouldn't be that big of a wall, should it?

Awesome! Finally got my PVC cards from Amazon (they are NTAG215s). This worked great on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. I would recommend throwing the steps from post #169 in the OP.

Nope, completely different.
hmm,I have never played any Disney games or Skylander games because I dont have any of their...amiibos? not sure what to call them..
