is there a way to make the Remasterd FF8 Save file from PC work on the mobile (iOS) versions?
In 2019 there was a long thread where people made PC saves work on switch or vice versa.
I am able to make change to the iOS save file using Hyne on PC. But when I load the game on iOS again, it crashes (but the save is shown in-game - this makes me believe there is a way to make it work).
What I recognized is the difference in the file size:
-iOS (unchanged) has 10kB
-the save changed with Hyne has 3kB
I’m no expert but pretty sure that’s the reason it crashes.
I uploaded the original iOS save file (start of the game). It’s not my current game save since I am already on Disc 2. Remove the .txt at the end ( I had to do it to be able to upload it here).
