Love all these screens, but they flash so fast on Luma 5.4 there is barely time to see them...is there a way to make them persist on screen until the home menu comes up?

Not exactly what you asked but now latest Luma 5.4 commit 6adb6e6 makes the bootscreens shown exactly 3 seconds, increasing the boot time by 3 seconds (only means to be done).

Really dug @axewfious's splash, so I combined it with /u/arvindb02's minimalist bottom screen I saw on /r/3dshacks

Not as creative as some others, just nice and simple.
5 Variations for the different models.
