Hacking M4 Real and GBA Codes

I think I already know the answer, but I figured I would ask you guys before giving in.

Goal: Use my M4 Real card to get cheat codes on my Slot 2 device (A GBA game in this case).

Equipment:
1 M4 DS Real Card
1 2 gig micro SD card
1 Final Fantasy 5 Advanced GBA cartidge (really any game though)

Is this possible?

Whoa... how did I miss that? Yeah, I mean M3. I think it was all that R4\M3 stuff I was reading before hand...

I didn't think it was possible, but I thought I would ask anyways. I guess it is off to buy a cheat device... or save money and grind for gold/levels anyways.

You can use cheats.
CTRL + F -> GBA games

I must be stupid\blind. The only thing I can see on that (very helpful) document is how to use Cheats for GBA roms, and that requires some sort of slot 2 gba device.

In my slot 2, I have the actual game, I do not have any M3 Slot 2 devices.

Am I stupid\blind?

No you can't use a slot1 as an Action Replay/GameShark/Codebreaker for a game in slot2.
