i recommend turning it off, and then once a week or so booting your DS with checkdisk on.
it's quite a waste of time.

okay the skins are nearly done, but now we can translate the real texts. I tested it and it seems to work. you just have to open the "messages.932" file with the editor and rename the words. for example i changed "環境設定" to "GUI Settings" (about three times) and booted the m3 with the edited messages.932. the menu which pops up after pressing start now has "GUI Settings" label in the middle. Im trying to find more words and rename them but it will take some time ...

Apart from the error messages (which I haven't seen used anywhere), almost everything has already been translated in this thread or can be translated using Google. I've added most of the translations to my file already, I can upload it later when I get back to my other computer if no one else has done this by then.

Also I find after configuring cheats/download play you need to restart... that's kinda annoying.

for the rest of the file, I just used google translate , I copied/pasted 1 block of text at a time and selected japenese to english and then copied back the text in notepad, everything is perfect in english now except some texts that are in graphics like the text at the top of the shortcut menu

Thanks for fixing the skin. I had some problems with Photoshop because the changed files weren't excepted by the skinmaker and ACDSEE seemed to change the transparency.
Okay now about the translation of the top settings screen and this screen here ?

i guess it only means "Applications" or "Homebrew" and "Games" or "NDS".

for those that can't get some homebrews to run: m3sakura doesn't auto-DLDI patch! you have to do this manually.
they however did make it easy! how?
tap, and hold the game, you'll see a "flower" appear, 1 leaf at a time.
within 3 seconds this flower is complete, and then it should work.

that screen is your "easy access" screen.
the left one is the return to filebrowser button, the middle is the "tools" button(shows the 1st 5 .nds files from your launch folder) and the right one is your list of previously played games(any nds game you played before ends up there)

Slide the game to the left to get to the game settings. Tap on the folder icon to select a cheat file and click on the exclamation speech bubble to enable/disable cheats. Then tap the disk icon at the bottom to save the changes.
