Hacking M3DS expansion pack

I'm looking to but an expansion pack and I have 2 M3's and going to get a couple of acekard's and was thinking about getting the m3 expansion pack because of the compatibility issues with the 3 in 1. My question is will it work with an acekard with exploader just to play gba games. THNX
