At the moment:

1. M3 Real is slow, but has more features (please confirm), such as slow motion, etc.
2. DSTT is easier to use, and is faster, but with less features.

Coming up:

1. M3 Real gets new Sakura firmware, making it much better for the user.
2. DSTT may get new Sakura firmware, making it much better for the user.

Wait, DSTT is getting the Sakura firmware? First I've heard of that :S I know you can get a beta version of it, but is the final product confirmed?

And in response to the original question, so far M3 Real for me...

Did you even read my post? I said it could use the BETA version, yeah.
Can it use the final version? Somehow, I really doubt it.
And no, myself I do not have a DSTT, my friend does, and I've used it.

So, where's your proof DSTT can run the FINAL version of Sakura?

OK, I've changed it, but I'm still sure it's possible, seeing as Moonlight is directly involved.

The M3Sakura BETA is merely a homebrew app.

It will be official firmware for the M3R Flashcard, it is so God damn obvious that it will not be available as firmware for the DSTT.

Also DSTT is faster... by 1 second?

Its compatibility sucks. It couldn't even run translated JUS for some time. FFCC:ROF had problems too.

Pros:
+ Cheap
+ Great build quality
+ 100% download play support (from tested games)
+ Cheat system
+ Soft reset
+ DLDI auto-patching
+ SDHC compliant
+ Super fast game boot times
+ Games save directly to MicroSD not onboard chip
+ Game status icons
+ Easily skinnable
+ Clean GBA ROM support (with expansion pak)
QUOTEROM Compatibility
I’ve tested many different games but I won’t bore you with a big long list.

Every game I’ve tried has worked perfectly except for Contra 4

Even so, I still dislike the DSTT myself. Not enough support from the team.

Well, my CycloDS is not a DSTT, but I prefer the ease of the M3 Perfect to the CycloDS. (As least for now)

Running GBA on the M3 Perfect is as seamless as running native DS. Beautiful.

Maybe in the future the CycloDS will have a similarly intuitive setup for GBA with the 3in1 Expansion, but the future is always a "maybe".

I wonder if that was the point of game streaming
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    But it's a dead end
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, i only have like 1 or 2 mb sec

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
