We've got the unofficial translation, so there's no huge rush. I would never trust a release date by programmers... ever. Quality of speed, you know?

From my understanding it's the same thing but with the added bonuses of the TouchPod firmware (RTS and homebrew compatibility) so it wouldn't look much different than the one we have now.

Actually, from the changelog, it is supposed to look a bit differently.....game setup screens should be within the GUI (not separated as before), and there is supposed to be different animation at booting and some other minor changes!

There is a new one, it has a international sakura logo and there are more asian languages added.

It's a Chinese version that works only for Chinese M3 Reals, so nobody tested it so far! We'll have to wait for English version or at least Japanese version (because in that case Densetsu3000 can test it for us!)

I personally can't wait to have the official firmware, with it's long-awaited enhancements over what we have now. Come on M3Santa, bring it on!
