Oh okay. Also, I just noticed, they don't make the M3 Sakura for the m3adapters.com site. I have one of their newer carts anyway.

Thank you for helping.

Have you tried the iSakuReal firmware yet?

http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=116839

It allows the best features of M3Real, M3 Sakura, and the iTouch.
Each time M3Real gets an update, the update seems to be incorporated into iSakuReal within a couple days.

I'm not certain this is precisely what you're looking for, but it's awfully nice.

I've never tried it before...Does the firmware give a Sakura interface or does it stick with my M3 Real interface?

If you've never tried it before, then there's only one thing to do...try it!

The link Vulpes posted is for the Triple Loader, which lets you have the Sakura, M3 Real and iTouchDS interface all on the same card at the same time.

I'm such a noob, and I will probably piss off a lot a people asking questions that have been asked before. But, I found this site off a fellow site.

-What is this moonshell I see in the folders and what does it do?

-Am I supposed to see some Japanese Text when it boots up?

-How do I add skins for the M3 Sakura and where do I put them?It boots up and just shows me the list of all the games I currently have on my card.

Thanks in advance...And I'm sorry if you seen my questions a bajillion times already.

Moonshell is a media player (there is much more to Moonshell, but this is the simple answer)

-Am I supposed to see some Japanese Text when it boots up?
Yes, because this is an unofficial translation of Sakura, as there isn't an official English release yet.

Sakura skins can go pretty much anywhere on your SD card. Root, system folder, their own folder; doesn't matter. To apply them, find the skin you want to use, and slide the title of it to the right with your stylus. When viewing your NDS folder, press B and you'll exit out to your root folder.

Most of us don't mind helping courteous newcomers.
We were all in that position once.

1) Moonshell is a program that lets you play videos or music on the DS (or homebrew consoles in general). In my opinion, Sakura does everything it does, but much better.

2) You should see Japanese letters only at the startup screen, yes.

3) What works for me is to make a folder in the 'SYSTEM' folder with the same name as the skin's name, and extract the pictures into it. Then put the .skn file into
'm3sakura' folder, located in SYSTEM

*edit*

Oops, that was a bit late.

Thanks so much. I was like what am I supposed to do? I thought I did something wrong because I saw Japanese text. And can I put all the skins in one folder or they need to be in separate folders?

You can put the skins in any folder all together, also I recommend lurking around the forums before posting threads like this

Do I need separate cheat files for the program. I saw one for cheat.dat and another cheat.db...they are all the same right...cause I downloaded cheat.dat just so it's up-to-date.

From the iSakuReal thread:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What's Included:
M3/G6 English Firmware v4.2a
iTouchDS English Loader v2.3b
Sakura Unofficial Fully Translated Hacked English v1.12+1
Narin's CHEAT.db (12-08-08)

That's usually all you'll need. Each new release of iSakuReal is bundled with the most updated cheat database (at that time).

I got the newest one for 12-17-08....

I'm almost finished setting up. I'm about to disengage my USB Flash card reader and put in my M3 Real and boot it up. I'll let you know how it turned out.

*edit*

I forgot to put my NDS folder back on the Flash Cart.... >_
