Hacking m3 real gba cheat function

ok i know now how to load games with the cheats. but how do i create the cheat files? can someone direct me to a link or a how to?

i think you read my question wrong. i would like to create a cheat file for a specific game that doesn't have one yet. final fantasy VI advance does not have a cheat file just want to create one and learn how to for future use and reference.

Here's my cheatfile for FF6 (create a text file with .cht extension)

Used VisualBoy Advance and the search function.

If I was trying to do what you are trying to do, I would find a game that has cheats in Action Replay and on the M3DS. Then, I would open both files up and look for similarities, then I would use that knowledge to create my own cheat file...

well the thing is those gba advance cheat codes are convert. i just found that out. but the program that converts it doesn't convert action replay codes(or was it codebreaker codes, one of them) so now i go into more dept with this situation that i am stuck in. i will search under visualboy advance when i get home. thanks.
