Well someone in here may know why this happens... I noticed that the GBA Expansion card and the M3Lite will work the same way when used with the M3 Real. That is pretty understandable but here is the part I thought was cool. When I would load this one game on the GBA Expansion, game played fine but I could not make it save for anything. So out of curiosity I stuck in the M3 Lite. Loaded the same game from the M3Real the same way ,game played fine and the save worked. Wow so I tried it on a few of the games folks have had save problems with and the 2 i tried work and save fine...
