Yes, everything works again. Thanks for linking me to that thread. The latest official release from GitHub doesn't work, so people should probably have a heads up or something.
basically yes.but anyway read the release description in the github page then update luma.ooh nice , looking at the github there is a new update to the best imo. CFW !
i looked up the gw site, and they 'released a method to fast boot into emuNAND GW.
i have no idea but i think my current set up is very good, i wont be touching it.
i can load up GW with some mod by lioqmajor (dont know if i spelled the name correctly) and everything runs so damn nicely ,using luma on latest updated sysNAND no emuNAND.
will update my luma now ,as usual thanks.
edit: as usual we only need to replace the arm9loaderhax from the root yah? nothing more?
Huh NTR is not a CFW like Luma at all. Technically, Luma isn't a CFW either, but NTR is even less of a CFW than Luma, especially since it REQUIRES a CFW like Luma to run it in the first place.Sorry if I was a bit unclear before. Firstly, when people talk about NTR and NTR CFW they are discussing the same thing. NTR is a custom firmware like Luma is, but slightly different. NTR CFW used to not work on 11.0 because Native Firm was different on that fw. To circumvent this, Luma allowed for loading external Firms through firmware.bin. This let you load NTR on fw 11.0 because the native firm is replaced with an external one from a compatible fw. The latest version of Luma removed the ability to load external Firms from firmware.bin because of this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/bootntr-11-0-native_firm-support-with-3d-banner.431471/ Since NTR was fixed to work on 11.0, firmware.bin's only use was eliminated, making it useless. Use one of the NTR versions from that thread to fix your issues. Replace your existing NTR files with the version in the thread (replace the cia too).
I can try, but I'm not near a PC now so it would take a few hours. Is anyone in here able to compile latest makerom for both x86 and x64 Windows versions? https://github.com/profi200/Project_CTR
Thanks a lot! Take your time. I guess it's too much posting from a Nokia 3310.I can try, but I'm not near a PC now so it would take a few hours.

Uh. I only have my Surface Pro 4 with me atm, I seem to be unable to compile the latest commit. :/Thanks a lot! Take your time. I guess it's too much posting from a Nokia 3310.

I tried compiling with -m32 and build failed. However, building with -m64 or with nothing at all resulted in a successful build. You rock! I'll test and report back in a while because in currently playing some games.

Idk, I'm randomly throwing stuff, but did you do make clean before compiling?Guys, I have a quick question, a little dummy, but quick
I have always compiled my Luma3DS (more of a "training" than "to have the latest" thing), but I've noticed that my version if not showing 6.0.1 and still shows as 5.5.
The git commit part of the version does indeed updates and the Luma3DS menu does show the latest implementations (like when the PIN feature was created) but the version is not "increasing".
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
actually, I did not!Idk, I'm randomly throwing stuff, but did you do make clean before compiling?

Uh. Try with 5.5 and see what happens?Hi there,
I used this guide step-by-step: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutoria...s-full-menuhax-rednand-autoboot-setup.432499/ to set up my DS with RedNAND and Luma3DS. I got down to the '~Properly Configuring Luma3DS & Updating RedNAND~' section and down to step 5, 'If you boot into the home menu, you have successfully launched RedNAND.'
That's the part that doesn't work. The screens flash and it goes back to the Homebrew Launcher.
I downloaded the latest version of Luma3DS from here: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases/ - and replaced the existing version I was using. There was no change.
I can configure it just fine by deleting the existing configuration file and holding Select, so I know that at least that part of the program is working.
Any idea what could be wrong?
Compiled Luma3DS, Decrypt9WIP, Aurora's a9lh just fine. So I guess it's a stable build and can be used without worrying. =) Do you mind if I link to this post in my thread on how to compile Luma3DS? Of course proper credits will be given.I tried compiling with -m32 and build failed. However, building with -m64 or with nothing at all resulted in a successful build.
