Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

hello guys, i would like to know if this can cause any issues v

from within the Nintendo3DS folder i have copy pasted my dbs folder where it has import/title in , and pasted it into every other long lettered names that exist in my Nintendo3DS folder e.g there are like 5 of them, i would guess 2 of them are sys/emuNAND and the other 3 from apps like JKsave manager? or menuhax ? i have no idea really !

but i mainly copy/pasted the dbs folder so that i could dump h&s app from sysNAND, as i cannot really get through with that, i keep getting error !
some error saying ticket db missing bla, even after i copy pasted dbs folder, i am still getting the same error.

and i ran D9 through L+R, and i have tried running D9 off my AureiemuNAND but within HB launcher the D9 app just wont load, it keeps reloading my HB launcher when i try to boot into D9 (could that be caused my my hex edited hblauncher otherapp bin file or not ?)

i hope someone can clarify these things for me :/

i have had injected the H&S (FBI) into my emuNAND long ago, worked all good.

Well, hmm, if you have ARM9LoaderHax, those extra folders are probably from your emuNAND 2.1 downgrade process? Menuhax stays inside of the extdata folder on the NAND folder IIRC.
Also just copying the dbs folder is useless, you need to open the System Settings, Data Management, Nintendo 3DS, and pick the first option in the menu. When it opens the uninstall menu, it'll ask to repair the database.

Did you inject the patched h&s with the banner, or without it?
Try running it to see if its FBI in case you injected the version without the banner, hence no icon

i thought of that also, so i did try launching it, but it loaded H&S original app.
mmm and also,i press L to boot into sysNAND, i assume L is the one with firm90 yep?

Hey, that's weird: when I auto boot to emunand, and then i launch quick reboot cia in order to reboot the 3DS, and I press A+L buttons, my 3DS boots into emunand instead of sysnand. WTF?

Nope, A and B buttons can't be used to a button payload (A button reset the selected nand, and B permits to boot into a second emunand)

oh mm, but i want to have FBI or any other installer on my sysNAND also, i could actually also easily use my GW card to do that..

Yeah, it's how AuReiNAND works in A9LH:
When a soft (or "MCU") reboot happens (like exiting from System Settings), AuReiNand will remember and force the last used boot mode. This is to easily keep staying on the NAND you booted (Emu/Sys). You can override this by holding A, which will make AuReiNand behave like on a cold boot (so you can use the same buttons - or no button - as usual to choose a boot mode).

I wonder if switching the boot manager to L+A broke that feature by mistake?

alright.. now my GW multi select isnt showing up in the sysNAND :/ arhgh ..i think i am missin something.

or GW multi select is not supported completely with a9lh yah? i thought it would show up with sig patchd.

mm, it does run its emuNAND though.

i wanted to have some installer on the sysNAND to install the GW cia, to boot into it at times for the cheat support.

Edit: can you find the difference between 2nd emuNAND, Gateway and gorilla sh*t? The answer is you cannot. They're all one and the same.
