Hi,

So I'm a complete noob at all this, I had Luma installed on my 3DS and everything was peachy until I tried to add a file (merged) into the "titles" folder to get that borderless Pokemon thing on Sun.
This was the one time I forgot to back up, I turned it on, Sun wouldn't open so I deleted it, reinstalled.
Still wouldn't open...
So I backed up the titles folder and deleted the contents to see if that'd just fix it, it didn't so I put the files back in the folder... aaaand there seems to be my mistake.

My issue now is though Luma is still on there... everything Luma and game related (Sun, freeshop, FBI,etc.) has now disappeared...
Is there an easy fix for this does anyone know?

Thanks! :)

Wait, did you delete SD:/Luma/Titles or did you delete the CTRNAND Titles folder?
OP I'm curious as well since deleting the entire "Luma" folder won't have any effect on your installed titles, at all. If you deleted the Titles in CTRNAND trying to "fix" things I'd stop playing with Godmode for one, and perform a CTRNAND transfer to get your system titles back.

If you don't know how to fix things, ask. People tend to make things 100x worse they try to fix an issue and they have no clue how.

can you boot to home menu?

try to copy back your backed up titles folder
Nope I can't boot it. I tried, it didn't work :c

Definitely "SD:/Luma/Titles", I think. It was just the one in the Luma folder, I didn't delete anything else at all. All I did was merge a titles folder in the Luma folder with another titles folder containing the no borders for Pokemon Sun, turned it on, Sun crashed on opening. Turned it off, backed up and deleted the contents of the Titles folder, everything disappeared so I copied it back in and it was still gone.
Yeah, I've learnt my lesson, I'll ask for sure next time.

Just strange since nothing is installed to the Luma titles folder. It's only used for layeredFS/region spoofing. Deleting the entire luma folder shouldn't even make your games disappear. This sounds like something else entirely.

op deleted titlesfolder in FBI (the 3ds titlefolder) thats why 3ds is not booting
Oh I thought they said they deleted the "luma/titles" folder..... That's what they said in their last reply. They didn't even mention FBI besides the fact it disappeared. OP do me a favor and check your system settings and data management. If you see your games/apps greyed out with a red X you've deleted the tickets somehow and just need to reinstall them.

I understand fine Lol. I'm just going by what the OP said in this thread. They never mentioned deleting anything with FBI........
luma/titles has no effect on the system though. Deleting that folder shouldn't have made their system not boot. I know you know this, I'm just saying.

Which is why I was confused Lol because the OP here straight up said they deleted that and ONLY that file.... So either the OP is lying about how they ended up with this issue or other dude is confusing this OP with another. Either way, nothing I can do to help without knowing one way or the other.

It was this one circled.
Sorry for any confusion.

Just go to data management in system settings and check your installed titles. It's not a big issue if you somehow deleted the tickets for those games.

I didn't see where they said it wouldn't boot.... I just saw that they said their stuff was gone, how would they know FBI, freeShop etc disappeared if the console wouldn't boot? I'm like 80% sure the OP just deleted some tickets messing around.

I read the system didn't boot from somewhere. Maybe I'm the one who's confused. lol
