Hello, I want to know some pokemon hacks.

Pokemon games are released in pairs or triplets. It would be a good idea to play a hack that merges the features of the editions of the same game.
A hack that merges Fire Red/Leaf Green.
A hack that merges Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald.
A hack that merges Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.
A hack that merges Soul Silver/Heart Gold.

It would be better if the hack allowed to evolve kadabra, graveler, haunter and other pokemons without trading, and allowed to get event items.

Thanks.

Any platform, GBA or DS.
An example of hack that I would like to play is a Pokemon Emerald that allow to catch pokemons that are missing in that edition, such as Lunatone and Roselia, allow to evolve pokemons without trading and allow to get event items.

Is there a good index that lists many pokemon hacks?

You could play Pokemon Brown/Pism/Rijon Adventures. basically a trilogy of hacks :P (With pokemon brown being the best GB hack ever created)

Try Pokémon Altair/Sirius (Japanese only.)
Both IPS patches can be found here

No idea if they're both final versions, though.

I assume the rom base would be Pokémon Ruby (J)

There are tons of hacks like that but I do recommend Pokemon Expert Emerald by SuicuneTM, Pokemon Hackgold DS by Zark and Pokemon Perfect Platinum by RolandHazoto.

I think, from reading your first post, you are looking for things like Platinum Deluxe, and other 386, 493 and 649 hacks, most of them take out the need to trade to evolve, they replace it with stuff like getting to a certain level with a specific hold item or something, they usually tell you in read me's or posts.

Wrong. Pokémon: World Famous Talking Cactus Version was the best GB hack ever created.
Seconded.

Cacti, Matty-O's, and stuffed dolls...

I remember someone made a sequel, called WTF World famous talking cactus... However, the link to the IPS patch is long dead...

Yeah it works great but it's the obvious Ds factor you loose from it it's not like playing atari games on atari because Nintendo actually use to give a reason to buy their hardware

Can't be that far off from it not like ds requires super hardware
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
@K3Nv2 I did that using Citra for 3DS games. Bottom screen was my smartphone. Until I got the touch screen.
