I noticed that the acekard 2.1 is out and costs less than 20$ which is great.

The only thing I care about is if it will be able to play recent/current ds games, mainly yugioh 2010, and others that will eventually come out. Should I look into this? Or something else cheaper that does the job?

Does that mean it will handle more newer games? Sorry I'm not familiar with builds of flashcarts. >.> Is that the mechanics of it all?

And has more features, but this is in the Acekard section so I was supporting it. I dont have either, but between the two, I would get the Supercard. I do have a Supercard DSTwo on order.

If you do not need DSi support and will not need DSi support, get a Genuine R4 for $6.
If you may need DSi support or DO need DSi support, get an Acekard 2i for $16.50.
If you bundle either one with a MicroSD at Shoptemp they offer Premium Flashing and Update service.

edit: and by DSi Support, I meant compatibility, not DSi-enhanced feature support.

Umm, build quality is the quality of the actual cartridge. Because the the 2.1 might fall apart if you accidentally drop it.

The Acekard 2i is a wonderful budget flashcard which will most likely be able to play all future games. With the support of the unofficial AKAIO firmware (AceKard All-In-One), you will gain the full experience of the AK2i. Most people are currently choosing the AK2i over the AK2.1 not because the AK2i can be used a DSi but because there is a current hardware revision on the AK2.1 that is preventing the card from saving games. This has been fixed and implemented into the Official firmware with help by the AKAIO Team. The AKAIO firmware itself does not have a fix yet. It will very soon.
