Gaming Looking for a game that contains 3.0E update

Is there any games that contains the current firmware, 3.0E ? (or maybe a 2.2E game that I don't already played)

I need it to repair my Wii :'(

No PAL game currently has the 3.0E update.


By saying you need to repair your console, whats the problem with it?

Is it you just gained duplicate channels?


Big Brain Academy, Mario Strikers were PAL games that could have had a 2.2E style (add-on) update you could have used.


Upcomnig PAL games (in the next week or so) include BOOGIE (will have an update for mic support), Alien Syndrome.

Whether they have a 3.0E update, who knows.

My Wii has crashed with the error "The system files are corrupted. Please refer ..."

I can't format, I can't update, the message appears at the startup BUT i've found a way to bypass it (but I still can't update from the web, can't format, can't play games, I just can see the menu and use it)

Big brain training didn't asked me an update . A 3.0E update must be the only solution to my problem. Maybe Tiger Woods 2008 ?

It updated to 2.1E. So no luck here...

Can you web update through the links in the mail sent by nintendo?(weather+news links do general updates). I am assuming your wii settings screen got corrupted.

Never tried, how to get one of those links ?

My settings screen is not corrupted, but an update can't be made (it freezes), or a format (it freezes, too)

Boogie does have an update, it fixed my no settings menu semi-brick which was caused by a bad mario strikers update (pal update on pal machine)

I should say, I'm not quite sure what update it is, maybe it just adds usb mic support, but it fixed my settings menu.

The reason i say this is because my settings menu says 2.1e which was what the failed mario strikers update should have taken it to. So I don't think it's an actual 3.0 update, but it should still help with your problems.

And I did the 15 sec Metroid 3 update trick after that and it worked fine.

I have a 2.1E and it sucks as some games I burn after being patched with brick blocker dont work but they do with a friends 2.2E

Madden NFL 08 hasn't the 3.0E update. Waiting for Super Paper Mario :/

I am on 2.1E firmware

I can confirm that Boogie does not update past 2.1E
Nor does Super Mario Strikers Charged

I've tried so many games to try and update my wii but with no luck so far, (i dont have internet for wii).

If anyone knows of a game that has 2.2E update, please let us know...

I am half thinking about just trying to play Metroid Prime 3 with the un-plug trick on my 2.1E and see what happens...

There is no official release of Super Paper Mario right now. You must have the patched version / wiibrickblocked
