locating other 3ds systems

Is there a way to view nearby 3ds systems using homebrew? as in i'm sitting on a bench, then i'll see a line of text popping up that displays information about a 3ds in someone's pocket as they pass by?

That's an explanation, i know how it works, but i can't find any homebrew that tells me the data itself.
