Cluster, can you try to fix this:

QUOTE(TyRaNtM @ Aug 25 2009, 05:41 AM) None of the loaders that Loadstructor have, support to the "autodetect 480p" if you have 480p actived.
For example: You have configurated your Wii at 480p and choosing a game USB forwarder (like Mario Galaxy channel), the first thing that the loader do, is changing to 480i, after a moments changes again to 480p.
The problem with this thing, is that sometimes, you load the game with wrong colors and the game run a little slow (is something with changing 480i to 480p very fast).

Some homebrews channels fix this, like the original Homebrew Channel, CFG Forwarder Channel (by Narolez), and of course, official channels.

If someone have a solution for this, will be awesome.

Basically is that the loaders (including cLoader) change to 480i if you have 480p in your Wii, and after a moment changes to 480p again.
1/20 times, you load the game with wrong colors, and the game runs slower than normally.
(See Narolez's Configurable USB Loader Forwader, that autodetect and doesn't force to 480p -> 480i -> 480p when you load it).

I already have installed the channels for my games with the Loadstructor 1.7 + cLoader 1.5. How do I update the cLoader 1.5 to 1.6?

Just reinstall them.
So I have to recreate the wads and the reinstall them? Or only reinstall the old wads?

Thanks

:-(

Couldn't you do something in the next version to make this more "streamlined"? For example having the loader separated from the wad or making a tool to patch the wad?

Thanks

There is my mod of WAD manager: http://clusterrr.com/dump/soft/wad-manager-batchmod.zip
Just recreate all WADs (select all games on WBFS drive), it's not so hard. Then put them into "gameswad" directory on your SD card and run this modded WAD manager. It will install all WADs in one press of button.

Thanks for this.
Would it be possible to make the alt dol choice just before doing the .wad ?
So then, we won't have a menu after launching the channel for selecting the alt dol.

that would be a good option, allowing you to be able to choose what .dol to load via a option in loadstructor, that way you could use say wadder to change the wad id and install duplicate channels of a game that loads a different .dol via the WBFS like what usb loaders do and not SD

e.g

MPT

Channel Name(Via Wadder) - Metroid Prime Menu - Loads rs5fe_p - Set Via Loadstructor
Channel Name(Via Wadder) - Metroid Prime 1 - Loads rs5mp1_p - Set Via Loadstructor
Channel Name(Via Wadder) - Metroid Prime 2 - Loads rs5mp2_p - Set Via Loadstructor
Channel Name(Via Wadder) - Metroid Prime 3 - Loads rs5mp3_p - Set Via Loadstructor

all the channels have the same opening.bnr made by loadstructor but have the different banner title changed via wadder, unles banner titles can be changed in Loadstructor aswel as custom channel ids....

what do you think cluster?

That's what I want too but I prefer using different banners (from japanese MP1&MP2 and MP3).

I recreated my wads and re-installed them with the latest update, but im still having an issue where my hard drive spins down when i start the channel then it turns back on once it says "Initializing WBFS..." if i just start the channel this is not a problem but if i spend more than3-5 sec in the overide settings menu the drive spins completely down and the light goes off then whether i change settings or not it freezes on initializing WBFS, I tried downgrading my cIOS to rev10 - 14 they all still do that, is there anyway to make it so it doesnt turn off my hard drive (the light goes off) when it loads these channels? The older cLoader never did this :-(

where do I put the wad-manager-batchmod.dol file at?

same place as every other HBC app, rename it boot.dol, give it an icon.png and a meta.xml, then run it thru HBC

.wad's go in sd:/gamewad/ and not sd:/wad/ with this mod

The readme really ought to say that it reads Ocarina codes from SD:/codes/

I was able to figure it out by reading through this thread, but it isn't immediately obvious or properly documented.

what cIOS are u using? if it 13 then u need to reset the wii after every game, cIOS 10,12 and 14 dont have this issue this is a well known bug in the cIOS.

simple answer update your cIOS to rev 14

You sir are a legend.... Thanks again

what program are you guys using to format your drive. I`ve got a wbfs drive formated via wbfs manager 3.0, when i try to load that drive in loadstructor it refuses to load it and says can find partition. I`ve tried a few drives. The drive is working in wbfs manager

I'm having issues using Loadstructor with Ocarina. Specifically, I am trying to use Balanced Brawl. This won't ordinarily work with Ocarina, because it requires too many lines of codes, but the double GCT method described here has proven to work for me, both with my legit copy using Gecko OS and with my HDD backup using Configurable USB Loader. However, the exact same GCT files that work with other loaders are giving me grief when used with Loadstructor, it crashes before it even gets to the wrist strap safety screen.

By the way, this is a great piece of software, even if I can't get this one thing working, and I use it for all my other games. Thought I ought to let you know, I really appreciate your work.
