Hi everyone. I have a 2015 3DS and am following the 3ds.hacks.guide instructions.

The 3ds has an input fault - it thinks the up button is constantly being pressed. I have tried replacing the d’pad board plus disconnecting the ribbons for the d’pad, circle pad & c-stick (individually and all at the same time) with no improvement, so I’m guessing it’s a main motherboard issue, unless anyone can advise otherwise.

Installation has gone well until now, despite having to use several workarounds, including using a downloaded Luma config.bin file with a different button combo to get into Rosalina. However, when I get to the Rosalina menu, I can’t navigate or select any of the options. None of the buttons work and I can only exit by powering off. I cannot Select [Miscellaneous options…], [Switch the hb. title to the current app.] so cannot get into the Homebrew Launcher.

I’ve read somewhere that this Rosalina menu freeze is caused by a constant input, such as a stuck button, which fits my situation exactly.

So my question is - as I cannot fix the stuck button issue, is there another way of getting into the Homebrew Launcher without using the Rosalina menu?

Thanks in advance for any help

you might be able to inject it into a default app, but I'm not sure. for that app, you may need the stuck button to cooperate.

The latest Luma commit may fix your issue, as they changed how the keys are handled. I tried to compile it for you, but my ctrulib installation is outdated and I cannot update it for now. Hopefully someone will be able to compile it for you. :(
