i put a brand new iso on the partition and it is still a no go. looks like i am going to have to make some serious changes after all.

what is the best loader around these days? i hear there are ones that allow for loading from ntfs and fat.

CFG USB Loader and USB Loader GX allow loading from FAT.

so when you load games form a FAT partition what is the file type? does it have to be ISO? those are pretty big.

You use Wii Backup Manager to convert ISOs to .wbfs files

that is what i thought. so GX loader should be able to load the .wbfs files from a FAT partition?

I think so. I read somewhere that it did, but I can't confirm it. I'm quite sure about CFG, though

i just thought of something.

do i have to tell GX Loader or the other loaders what directory to load games from? because i did change the drive letter of my WBFS partition when i was doing my resizing/formatting originally.
