Does this actually save battery power?
Keep your phone screen on permanently and measure how long it takes to die. Now charge it back to full and measure how long it takes with the screen off - Quite a huge difference. This is no different.

Thanks, but how to have bigger covers in the carousel?
Save your PNG images as a larger size.. Loadiine will show whatever you give it.

Take the ones from gametdb, open them in a graphics editor (Paint.net or GIMP is free), resize them to be larger and resave. Enlarging an image will obviously cause it to look worse the more you do it, though.
You don't have to do that..
There is more size's on gametdb

I dont know if this issue has been addressed or not, but I uploaded a video of the behavior. This is what happens when I get around 31+ or so games. The cover carousel ends up with this scrolling bug maybe its just mine has anyone else noticed this behavior? What it does is it cycles through all the games before it gets to the last game, it does this in both directions. You can get to the start by cycling all the way through but it ends up slowing down quite a bit. You can just switch modes with ZR as a temp fix for the slowing down. Thanks @dimok for all your hard work and others involved hopefully it gets fixed down the line as my card has plenty of room left :D

yeah, I love the carousel mode the best but when I switch to the next game it scrolls through the whole list again...so I stick to grid for now :\

Just finished setting up v.2 with the new HBL and i have a couple questions. Whats the most desirable /consistent way to switch games? Also any way to exit mk8 without it freezing the console? Thanks.

Isn't there only one 3D cover size for each game? I mean you can take the high res front-facing image and skew it yourself and place it on a Wii U cover template, but that isn't a very practical solution for someone that isn't even sure how to create a larger version.

Home/Mii Maker/change Game.....

Mario kart 8 freeze when exiting to system menu
It's the same compatibility than Loadiine v4.0
It was already freezing, it's a known issue, don't report it again and again.
Just check the compatibility list on wiki first before reporting game issues !

@dibas
You might be already aware of that, but I noticed padcon doesn't seem to work with VC games. Pressing the right analog stick down will just make the led flash blue. The screen stays on. I tried on 3 different N64 games. Can't say anything about other VCs. Nevertheless, still awesome for native Wii U games. Thanks again for the great hack.

I have a 128GB sd card that has worked with loadiine, GX 0.1, or an early build of 0.2. I tried this 0.2 (as well as homebrew launcher) on the same card, but they only spit out "SD mount failed." The directory structure is there as it's supposed to be, so it has got me stumped. I copied the bare essentials to a different 2GB card, and both GX2 and homebrew launcher then load just fine. Is it a size issue? That's all I can think of as a difference between the cards.

I was getting a very similar error with my new 128GB microSD card, too, when I first tried it a couple days ago. The exact error message was "FSGetMountSource failed". I wasn't even able to reach the homebrew launcher. So I switched back to my 64GB, and installed the HBL on this along with loadiine_GX2 with padcon. Now after reading your message, I decided to re-try the 128GB. I just made minor modifications to the files (replaced regular loadiine_GX2 with the padcon GX2, and also replaced the cover pics with higher res ones). I didn't touch the game folder at all. I inserted it in my Wii U, and suddenly, it works now. :wtf: I thought maybe I would have to reformat to 32k clusters, but no, it's working fine with 64k, after all. I read here somewhere that the SD adapter might give problems (for a microSD card). But I'm using the same adapter, I didn't change. Anyway, trial and error. Your card should work.
