I finished creating the icons and backgrounds for my N64 virtual console games, decided to share them here for anyone else that needs them.
Thanks to Datalogger and Blakgem for the tips

I included a few Wii U games I was missing a meta folder for.

This pack contains nothing but TGA files for the icons and backgrounds for those who are missing them. All made from scratch.

thank you bro.i guess these need converting?

Are you sure you didnt do some mess up with the save game path or the save game method? I tested saves with both save game methods and they both worked fine.
Seems like it would still use the "c" folder instead of "common". I have made a copy of the savegame, so now i have a "c" and a "common" folder, and now yww recognices the savedata, but the savedata.dat in the "c" folder is newer than the in the "common" folder.
Oh. I actually didn't try direct streaming but I dont see a reason why it should not work. You could also just place the bgMusic.mp3 in the SD:/wiiu/apps/loadiine_gx2/resources/ folder. This way it replaces the currently used resource. You can also replace other resources like images with that method to create your own small "theme". Positioning might not be correct though if the image sizes are not correct.
This also doesn't work for me. Is there a limit for the mp3 eg. file size or duration!?

Nope, just put them on your SD card and it's good to go.

Also sorry for the half reply LMAO. I was distracted by another post xD
I was gonna tell you to name all your games with a unique ID as you already know, but then also have the boxart named the same as the uniqueID.
Boxart goes in SD:/wiiu/apps/Loadiine_gx2/boxart3d/

I am afraid we need to modify the launching meta.xml values for that. Since it is loaded inside the IOSU, currently that is not working. It might also be somewhere in the kernel/user memory area but I didnt find it yet.

So basically, once the needed data that loads the server info and so on into the memory is found, it'll be possible to replace it somehow and thus allowing us to play online? May it be found soon then (hopefully)!

I was really thankful for those meta, but for whatever reason they crash the GUI to a DSI exception. After removing them, I no longer crashed.
Any idea why this would be happening?

I hadn't realized I don't have an amount on this forum, so this'll be my first post.

I am hosting the SD card method loader at http://yandere.dance/wiiu/
It seems to work for me better than the network method when not hosting locally.

I haven't tested them myself, I'll test it on my end. *Shakes head* everything I make, never works :c

I don't see how they wouldn't work though. They're all RGB (non alpha channel) TGA images at the right image size.

basically there is no guarantee that it is even possible without IOSU access, but basically as we hijack SSB/mii maker the IOSU has been passed the details for miimaker/SSB this info is what allows us to load games from the SD as it includes the permissions IOSU sets up for the game which is required to be granted SD access, one downfall of this approach is it also locks in the titleID to that of miimake/SSB

meaning when the game attempts to access online features its actually being directed to the online servers for the host game

seems dimok still hasnt completely given up home he might find a way to change the titleID post launch to hopefully correct online services, but as he mentioned the are needing changing may only be accessible via IOSU

Are you on 5.3.2 ?
is your MP3 VBR or CBR?
known bug : VBR doesn't work on 5.3.2

if it's not 5.3.2 or not VBR, then there's another issue. try different files, or format.

i have just started trying different background music. i have set it up like this

BgMusicPath=wiiu/apps/loadiine_gx2/music

should i put the name of the song as well? and is there an actual limit on the size of the mp3?

I think you need "sd:/" at the start of the string, and the filename.extension at the end.
I don't think there's a size limit if it's streamed from SD.
there's a big available memory for sound loaded to memory (in case it's put in resources folder instead of streaming it) so you shouldn't worry about the size.
